Cruise No. 14/2015 is a mile and one-way cruise (approx 470sm) with at least two night drives and is aimed primarily at active sailors who want to gain more experience in the skippers of yachts. The experienced professional skipper Nadine Doberstein trained with them all the trimmings to consider joining a sailing yacht.
The focus is on this sailing week especially when practicing all processes on a cruise, from check in through the route planning and classification of Törnteilnehmer up to harbor and anchor maneuvers.
Each participant becomes a daily stage skipper and leads the ship and the crew for 24 hours covers all important things to be practiced and demonstrated in a simple and spassige way that await the charterer in "real life", including navigation, cruise planning, team management, assessment of weather as well as everything related to the safety and well-being of the crew. You get lots of little tips that make life easier for sailors. The distances nautical miles of course confirmed.
Also sailing beginners are welcome and can participate in the maneuvers to your heart's content.Always according to the motto "Everything goes, nothing has!
Saturday night is getting to know, creating the wax Plan, security briefing by the skipper and route planning completed, taking into account the current weather. All Törnteilnehmerinnen be involved in the security plan and are involved in the navigation and the rudder walking. The periods of miles to be confirmed at the end of the cruise.
On Sunday we left rested after fresh coffee, full breakfast and a full tank of Palma Bay and sail to the West coast to the north, where we according to the weather in Cala Coves moored in Menorca or directly in Mahon.
Our next destination takes us to the southern coast of Corsica. It Takes about 40hrs.for these 270 nm. The crossing is worth the effort. Very often fin whales and dolphins can be observed. The lively town of Bonifacio in southern Corsica, is a highlight that they should not be missed. Even the control of the narrow lagoon with its spectacular entrance along the cliffs is a must. High up on the chalk cliffs sits the beautiful old town with its picturesque medieval stone houses and narrow streets. The view of the far lying down coast, the deep blue sea with lots of white fishing boats is truly wonderful.
Continue through the Maddalena archipelago , with bathing stops at the beautiful sandy beaches, Olbia / Sardinia. The area between the southern tip of Corsica and Sardinia's northern coast is a true dream destination for sailors. Here usually a cool breeze, even if otherwise there anywhere in the area doldrums. Wind often from North-West means stronger, ablandiger wind at relatively little wave.
In this cruise are fixed start and destination. However, the route may change with regard to wind and weather.
Getting there: By plane to Palma and aboard come from15: 00 h mooring of the yacht is the La Lonja Marina Charter , directly opposite the Old Town.
Return: From go overboard on Friday evening or on Saturday after breakfast 9:00 and by plane from Olbia to home
